I had a very pleasant day at the school selling my Anglo Chinese themed gifts. If i knew that the school only teaches Cantonese, i probably wouldn’t have gone to. I am quite surprised that there are quite a few schools actually only teaching Cantonese instead of Chinese mandarin, it is a bit like teaching Welsh in Holland.

But i was pleased that i went. It wasn’t sell-out, but considering this wasn’t my real target market ie. a mixture of people from mainland and other Asia areas, i was satisfied with the sales. The head teacher Ruby was such a nice lady, very helpful and sincere. In returned, i offered school some beautiful bookmarks of ours as prizes for the school. I intend to keep this association going, support the school more possibly in the future. Meantime, they are also talking about a proper fair with many others selling there in the summer (last weekend in June?), i may be attempted to go again. But i hope by then the business has taken off, i can afford to get someone else to do it instead.

The occasion left me with warm feelings and optimism.
