Hounslow Town Primary School - Chinese School

Saturday, 17th December

I had a very pleasant day at the school selling my Anglo Chinese themed gifts.  If i knew that the school only teaches Cantonese, i probably wouldn't have gone to.  I am quite surprised that there are quite a few schools actually only teaching Cantonese instead of Chinese mandarin, it is a bit like teaching Welsh in Holland.

A Market Stall at the Trafalgar Square/China Town

1st December, 2011

The charge for the stall itself will be £420 - can we sell enough to get this first cost back?  The organiser told me many sellers sold their stuff out before reaching the end of the day.  I have no questions as i don't have any similar experience before so i don't know really what to ask.  At the same time, i do have so many things i don't have a clue on: what did others sell?  What the public mood would be?  what is the security like on the day? What if the whole thing is canceled?

Showing the Anglo Chinese Community our gift range

18th November, 2011

Thinking about how to get our new range of products seen by more people.  I suddenly thought about the annual Chinese New Year party taking place around China Town and Trafalgar Square.

Through an associate i got connected with the London China Town Chinese Association.

It seems quite simple to register and perhaps get a stall in the area.
